At some point, I switched to PARA because it better matches how I think, using one large file for projects, areas, resources and archive respectively and it worked beautifully. I've had it many many years, probably decades. It started as a simplification of common options. Zsh cause it's better.</p><p>It came into its current state because I now use chemacs2 and have stable, dev and test instances.<br>It supports multiple chemacs profiles with -p. Any unrecognized options are passed on. Default profile is stable.</p><p>It works with my Emacsn environment that I created with make and chemacs2.</p><p>I haven't tested it with a straight .emacs.d in a while.</p><p>There are also other options, running in terminal, as a daemon or client, and with debug init.
